August 15th, 2015There’s not a lot I can say about this really, it’s a clone, it’s a large can, it’s sweet, it’s middle-of-the-road and nothing special other than the FIST on the front of the can. Full marks for an interesting brand name and can design.
Spartan
August 1st, 2015For Honour. For Glory. For Victory. But not, as it seems, for Sparta. It tastes okay, in fact it tastes an awful lot like No Fear energy. As a consequence, I’m considering it a clone, but not quite a clone of Red Bull. It’s a large can and very sweet, but for the 39p this cost me it’s not bad at all.
Relentless Mango Ultra
July 4th, 2015Wow, a big can of fruity juiceness. Relentless have managed to get the balance just right – it’s slightly tropical in taste, but neither artificial or sharp. It’s very fruity so gets a little sickly towards the end of the can, but nowhere near as bad as other similar flavours.

Monster Ubermonster
June 25th, 2015From the design of the can and the ‘brew’ tagline, along with the specifically mentioned ‘non-alcoholic’ statement, I really expected this drink to taste like non-alcoholic beer. I was very wrong – it tastes like a smooth version of normal Monster Energy. There’s a lot of this drink in the can, but fortunately it has the ‘No Fear’ style re-sealable can design so you can easily save it for later, and despite being carbonated, it’s not *too* carbonated so you won’t notice it going flat if you do save some for later. It’s apparently brewed (instead of mixed up like a normal drink?) using proprietary German technology. Vorsprung durch energy drinks.

Euro Shopper Sour Apple
June 13th, 2015It’s okay, but it’s a budget apple flavoured drink. It’s not sour by any definition of the word, but it is quite sickly and sweet. Basically, it’s fizzy apple squash.
Rockstar Energy Water – Blueberry and Pomegranate Acai
June 6th, 2015I like this lots! I couldn’t taste either the pomegranate or acai, but the blueberry flavour was perfect. Not strong and sickly, but mild and very refreshing. Top marks all round for this drink.

Rockstar Energy Water – Peach
May 30th, 2015Well, it’s not too offensive. It’s quite watery, as you’d expect from something named Energy Water. I don’t like peach drinks, they’re worse than tropical in my opinion, but this wasn’t as bad as it could have been.

Euro Shopper Sour Cherry
May 23rd, 2015I really like this. Synthetic and strongly flavoured, it’s really nice as well as quite cheap. It’s not very sour at all though as you would expect (come on, the ultra sour drink challenge is still open).
Rockstar Xdurance – Electric Fruit Mix
May 2nd, 2015This tasted really good. I’m not sure what the electric part is, but the main flavour is watermelon. It tastes very sweet and artificial, just like those fizzy watermelon sweets you get in pick’n’mix stores. Rockstar are definitely coming up with good flavours at the moment…
