May 14th, 2016It’s fake Lucozade! Not orange flavoured, but a generic mix of lemonylimeyoraneycitrussy stuff. Nice, but very high in sugar/calories as you’d expect from this type of beverage.
Tropicana Energy – Mango and Guava
August 29th, 2015It’s just a shot of caffeinated fruit juice. I don’t much like fruit juice, so I found this horrific, but if you are after a caffeine perk without the usual energy drink flavour then this is for you. I’d be surprised if you could tell the difference between this drink and a regular juice drink.
Boost Energy – Exotic Fruits
June 27th, 2015If you’re going for a bottle of energy drink, then you’re probably better off going for this than Lucozade. It’s less sickly and pumped with a lot more caffeine. I’d classify it as a tropical drink, but on the milder and sweeter side.

Red Kick
May 16th, 2015I found this in a health food store, and as per usual any drink I get from a health food store tastes like cr..ubbish. I didn’t even finish the whole bottle because it tasted so naff. It didn’t give me much of a boost either even given the normal levels of caffeine.
Emerge Citrus Mist
September 13th, 2014I really like this. It’s like a rip-off of Mountain Dew, only smoother in flavour. When I opened the bottle, it make a satisfying ‘tsskk’ sound, and a gentle mist actually started flowing from the opening like an early morning scene in a BBC costume drama. Very dramatic for such a budget drink!
Lucozade Energy Mango Mandarin (The Brazilian)
August 16th, 2014Too high in sugar, too low in caffeine, and much too tropical for my liking. It’s sharp and tart in flavour, mostly taking its flavour from pineapple from what I can tell. It’s Lucozade’s World Cup 2014 special edition and apparently “it’s like a carnival in your mouth”. Hmm.

Extreme Energy
August 9th, 2014I was expecting a regular boring clone, but what I got was something very different. I tastes quite medical – like a non-minty mouthwash! Tipping it out in to a glass reveals it is also an unusual colour too – bluey greeny. IT contains more caffeine than most energy drinks too at 40mg/100ml so packs a real punch. I’ve never tasted an energy drink like this so at least those people at the Extreme Sport Channel have licensed something original.
Nutri1st 3in1 Sports Drink Berry
May 14th, 2014Infinitly better than the Orange variety of this drink, as in it didn’t make me feel sick. It really does just taste like slightly fruity still water. Okay, so it’s got a tiny amount of protein in it, but it’s not worth the money in my opinion so just buy a protein bar and a can of Red Bull instead.
Lucozade Energy: Melonade
April 30th, 2014This is a limited edition flavour and it’s pretty good. It’s a mild fizzy melon flavoured drink which is very high in calories, but low in caffeine. In fact, I’ve guessed at the caffeine content based on the information I know about other Lucozade Energy drinks because the label on this bottle doesn’t give you any clues.
