Warrior Rage Energy Shot: Energy Burst
November 16th, 2024When you open this bottle you get an aroma not too different to Calpol. Which is a good thing because everyone loves the taste of Calpol! The taste is of course both extremely sweet and bitter at the same time, which is what you have to expect from an energy shot really. It reminds me a lot of the original Red Bull energy shot from several years ago, when energy shots were all the rage. Rage 🙂 get it? Cuz this is called Warrior Rage? No? Oh ok, well, a good energy shot, sorry for the ramblings!
G Fuel Ice Shatter
November 9th, 2024It’s a bit like the white Monster but with a slight twist. Blueberry and lemon, so it’s a tangy version of a blueberry drink. Refreshing and very heavy on the caffeine.

Reign Storm: Kiwi Blend
October 26th, 2024I don’t like apple, luckily the kiwi flavour has toned down the appleness and this is an ok drink for the summer. Fresh and fruity without being sickly.

Kong Strong Colossus: Orange, Passion Fruit, Guava
October 19th, 2024It’s a tropical energy drink. Badge it up however you like by listing the fruits used but at the end of the day it’s a huge (colossal?) can of tropical energy drink! Not bad, and from the budget supermarket Lidl so a decent price too.
Rockstar Zero Sugar Blueberry
October 12th, 2024Quite a light flavoured blueberry drink. It’s neither watery nor too strong, a good balance and zero calories too. Blueberry is a good flavour for energy drinks I think because it’s different enough from the regular mixed fruit flavours but doesn’t have the harshness of other berry flavoured drinks.

Reign Storm: Peach Nectarine
October 5th, 2024Another one of what I think is intended to be Reign’s healthier-looking drinks with pictures of real fruit on the front. I’m not a big fan of peach drinks but this was sort of ok. I mean, it was too peachy for me but if you like peach then I guess the balance of flavour is pretty good!

Reign Storm: Valencia Orange
September 28th, 2024Nice and fresh. The orange (I can’t vouch for the Valencian origin of those oranges) flavour is balanced well, not massively strong but not weak and watery either. Quite an interesting design for the can too, taking design hints from those other brands which are targeting the health market. You still have the large Reign logo, but you now have the silver background and actual pictures of fruit!

Hell Black Cherry
September 21st, 2024This is more like it. After the disappointing AI flavour of drink, black cherry gives me that fizzy fruit sherbet cherry flavour from my childhood! Extremely drinkable and robustly flavoured.

Hell A.I.
September 14th, 2024Well I guess it had to happen eventually, the rise of AI was bound to find its way to energy drinks. If the can and web site are to be believed then this drink was at least in part designed by AI. What it’s come up with it just a red berry flavour. Quite sickly, nothing revolutionary, a bit meh. Human-based flavour creators have nothing to worry about!
