A large can of clone-style energy drink. Nothing particularly special about it, but it’s sweet, not too sour or sharp, but definitely budget.
WHOOP! It’s the 400th energy drink to be reviewed on this site! Sadly, it’s not a special drink though. With a name like Volcaz and discovered in the Polish (as in the country, not the cleaning product) aisle of Tesco, this drink seems to have been made in Hungary. It’s just a clone, but a nice and sweet one with no bitter aftertaste.
Sadly this is just a massive can of generic tasting energy drink. It’s sweet and slightly bitter, and quite difficult to finish because of that. Gives you a big sugar punch but that’s all.
Nope, it doesn’t taste like gravy and it isn’t thick and brown. It’s just a cheapo tasting clone with a bitter tang to it. Drinkable, but quite definitely budget.

Relentless energy drinks have had a bit of a design overhaul recently. Gone is the gothic-style line art graphics on the can, and in are loud and bold colours. With that rebranding has come the new Relentless Zero, which is effectively a renamed version of their awkwardly named Relentless Origin Ultra (maybe because it’s easier to understand a ‘zero’ drink will be low calories instead of the wholly non-descriptive ‘ultra’ moniker they used previously. The drink is the same as before so far as I can tell – slightly watery but no strange brewed taste.

Apparently this can design is the winner of the can design awards. It’s okay I guess, but I wish they’d spent a little more effort on the contents. It’s nice, but just another sweet clone.

I have a feeling that this is a limited edition drink for promotional purposes – the can is advertising a Gumball 3000 competition to win concert tickets, gadgets and rally tickets, and the promotion ended many months before I managed to get hold of this can. The drink itself is a regular clone, quite watery and bland but refreshing. The gold-on-black can design is quite neat though, and a 330ml can size meant that I didn’t immediately recognise it as an energy drink on the shelf.
It’s large can of ordinary. Tornado Storm is just a clone-style energy drink, and tastes exactly like many other budget drinks out there. It’s sweet, not sour, and quite sickly.

It took me ages to open this can, and I had to use a screwdriver in the end. The re-sealable opening on the can is way too difficult to open, at least it was on the can that I purchased anyway. The branding on the can is premium quality, with a matt effect label, and the drink itself is okay (a clone) but nothing special. Very sweet, but let down by the daft and fiddly opening.
