Xyber Red (Cherry & Raspberry)
January 8th, 2022A bit sweet, a bit bitter, but nice overall. Certainly it’s a lot better than the Xyber Original flavour. I think this is the only cherry and raspberry drink I’ve ever tried so in that respect it scores high on the originality scale.
Lucozade Alert Cherry Blast
September 25th, 2021It’s Lucozade Cherry in a can! Ok, so it’s also a much stronger flavour than you’d get from regular Lucozade – less watered down, but the base flavour is the same. It’s nice, not that refreshing especially in a large 500ml can. In my opinion, this would actually have been improved by being sold as a 250ml portion instead, but I guess marketing wins. Despite the brand though, and this tasting rather nice, it’s not as premium as the can suggests. The flavour is very similar to the many smaller lesser-known brands that seem to produce one-off runs for the various budget/pound shops.
Coca-Cola Energy Cherry
July 31st, 2021It’s Cherry Coke with a kick! Much nicer than normal coke in my opinion because the fruity cherry flavour makes the classic coke taste a lot lighter. Full of calories and caffeine, this drink is a great sugary summer beverage. If they did a sugar-free version it’d be even better!
Rubicon Raw Cherry and Pomegranate
June 12th, 2021The first of three new Rubicon flavours I’ve discovered – and I hope the other two are as good as this one. There’s a strong and tangy, slightly sour cherry flavour to this – not much of the pomegranate that I could tell, but overall this was a really nice drink. Not too sickly, but still very sweet.

Boost Energy – Cherry Burst
August 3rd, 2019I was a little bit disappointed with this drink. It started off great, a nice and sweet fix cherry flavour that was a bit different to the norm. But, after only a few sips it became quite sickly to drink. That’s a shame really because they really have tried something different, so maybe it’s just not to my taste.
1899 Cherry
October 20th, 2018Quite a tart yet sweet drink, reminiscent of double-dips from the sweet shop. Nice in a 250ml can but I wouldn’t want much more than that. The upside is though it’s sugar-free!

Focus BPM: Berry Red
September 30th, 2017When it says Berry on the can… it means one specific berry: cherry. It’s really tasty, but it doesn’t quite give the caffiene hit you’d expect from an energy drink (quite low at 14mg/100ml). I found this in Ireland – never seen it in the UK though so keep your eyes out for it.
Monster Ultra Black
June 17th, 2017This cherry flavoured drink is really nice – but it does need to be drunk whilst cool. Once it starts to warm up it becomes a little sickly.

Euro Shopper Sour Cherry
May 23rd, 2015I really like this. Synthetic and strongly flavoured, it’s really nice as well as quite cheap. It’s not very sour at all though as you would expect (come on, the ultra sour drink challenge is still open).
