Oshee – The Witcher – Cat (Apple-Kiwi)
August 13th, 2022This is the second flavour from Oshee’s new Gaming Edition range, and a lot better than Blizzard. I’m not normally a fan of apple flavoured drinks but this one surprised me. I didn’t get much of an apple flavour at all, but there was a slightly citrussy / slightly tropically flavour coming through. Well, anyway, it was nice whatever the unidentifiable resulting fruity flavour was! The better of the two so far.
Furocity Tyson Fury Sour Apple Punch
May 7th, 2022I’m not a fan of apple-flavoured drinks as regular readers will be aware. And I’m also not going to tell Mr Fury to his face that I didn’t like this drink much, so can someone else please pass on that message so as I can keep my face as it is?? It’s appley, but not very sour, and the apple flavour itself is more like a mild watered down synthetic flavouring rather than a stronger apple squash flavour. You might like it, I didn’t really think much of it.
Warrior – Fizzy Apple
April 9th, 2022Yeah I know I’m not a fan of apple-flavoured drinks, but I put myself through this punishment just for you, dear readers. Not, I didn’t like it. It was sharp and left a bad aftertaste in my mouth just as I’d feared. Very artificial tasting and quite sickly to get through, I’d give this particular Warrior flavour a miss and go with one of the others which are considerably better.

Reign: Sour Apple
May 23rd, 2020This is the third variety of Reign that I have discovered so far. Sour Apple is refreshing and not very sour at all. It’s fruity and gets the balance just right, without being sickly at all even after drinking a whole large can of it.

Mad-Croc Green Apple
April 4th, 2020Despite the awesome can graphics, this really was just a cheap tasting fizzy apple drink. It was quite sweet tasting and left a tangy aftertaste… I couldn’t recommend it.
Best-One Sour Apple Energy
January 25th, 2020This is a pretty sweet and refreshing apple drink, not very sour but quite fizzy in both carbonation and flavour. Overall, it’s still a cheap tasting own-brand energy drink packed full of sugar.
Rockstar XD Power – Hardcore Apple
December 7th, 2019I don’t like apple flavoured anything. Usually… but this drink surprised me. I had planned to just try and bit and tip the rest away because I was so unlikely to want to finish it. Well, all finished! A nice fresh, sweet favour, and low in calories too! It also has BCAAs for the body builders out there (??? why are you drinking energy drinks!?).

Carabao Green Apple Sugar Free
September 29th, 2018Carabao are really pushing their brand at the moment, with posters everywhere and even TV adverts. It’s a bit disappointing though that their main ‘special’ flavours are pretty much following those of the cheaper brands, i.e. apple and orange. I’m expecting them to release a berries one too at this rate. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a nice drink if you like apple drinks – it’s not overpowering and they’ve got the balance right, but it just feels like something I picked up from a discount shop and not the premium £1 can it is.

Hell Strong Apple
April 28th, 2018I’m never a big fan of apple flavoured drinks but I tried this one anyway. If you like apple drinks then consider this one a sweet and subtle variety. It’s certainly not as strong as drinking apple squash, but it’s definitely got a decent amount of flavour in it. It’s also boosted in terms of caffeine by 20% over a regular energy drink if that helps at all?
