Well this is a very interesting edition – Red Bull normally release only one winter-themed new flavour but this year (2026) they have released this “Glacier Edition” in addition to their Winter one. And the reason it’s interesting? It’s like nothing Red Bull have produced before certainly in the UK anyway. Officially this is “Frosty Raspberry” and you can taste the raspberry in it for sure, but there’s also a very slight aniseed taste to it too, giving it a sharpness. But, the most immediate part of the flavour that hit me was just how watery it tasted. The flavour is extremely subtle and watered down, almost as if that glacier has melted into it. The aftertaste is one of a full-fat energy drink though, you do get the sugary feeling clagging around in your mouth after a few sips. It sounds like I’m being negative here, but overall it’s a nice fruity drink and something quite different to everything else out there.
