No Fear Blue Storm
May 31st, 2014Nice! It tastes like a mixture between raspberry and blueberry, along the lines of most of the other blue coloured energy drinks. It packs quite a punch being high in sugar, caffeine and volume, and being very drinkable goes down quickly too. Smooth and tasty.
Effect Zero
May 28th, 2014Really not as nice as the full fat version. You’d usually expect there to be a similarity but in this case it’s pretty much a different flavour of energy drink. Much more bitter tasting and quite cheap tasting despite the premium price and ‘high quality’ blurb splashed over the front of the can.

May 24th, 2014Not too bad. It’s a clone so there’s no surprises there. It’s also on the herbal side regards to taste, but still very sweet. It bills itself as a high quality energy drink, but other than the slightly larger can, which does feel textured in a higher quality way, there’s nothing to indicate that this is a high quality drink from a taste point of view.

May 17th, 2014Explosive? Ex-no-sive. Nice can design, poor attention to the quality of the drink. It’s a normal, boring clone with a slightly sour taste.
Nutri1st 3in1 Sports Drink Berry
May 14th, 2014Infinitly better than the Orange variety of this drink, as in it didn’t make me feel sick. It really does just taste like slightly fruity still water. Okay, so it’s got a tiny amount of protein in it, but it’s not worth the money in my opinion so just buy a protein bar and a can of Red Bull instead.
Evolve Sugar Free
May 10th, 2014I’m not sure if this is related to the other Evolve (full fat version) I tasted a while back, but it’s not how I remember it! This Evolve Sugar Free drink is a clone, but it’s very nice. Not metallic at all as I remember the other one being. I’d highly recommend you try it if you can find it.

May 3rd, 2014It’s another budget Red Bull clone from a convenience store. It’s cheap, tastes sweet, and wakes you up. Nothing else to say I’m afraid.
Lucozade Energy: Melonade
April 30th, 2014This is a limited edition flavour and it’s pretty good. It’s a mild fizzy melon flavoured drink which is very high in calories, but low in caffeine. In fact, I’ve guessed at the caffeine content based on the information I know about other Lucozade Energy drinks because the label on this bottle doesn’t give you any clues.
