If you asked someone "give me something that tastes medical" then this drink is likely the sort of thing you'd get! Before I talk about the flavour though, let's talk about the ingredients. This is called Shilajit energy and it contains Shilajit extract which is some sort of naturally occurring resin found in the Himalayas in the crack of the rocks, made from decomposed plant material. There are many supposed but not proven health benefits which I'll leave you to Google. The drink also contains saffron, although that spice is so delicately flavoured that it's probably only being used as a natural colouring. Finally let's talk about Zamzam Water. I had to search for information about this because I'd never heard of it before, but apparently the Zamzam well is a holy well in Mecca. So somebody has actually visited Mecca, bottled up some of the holy water from that ancient well, taken it back to America and included it in an energy drink, albeit only at a dilution of 0.01%. Let's move on to the flavour - it's medical. As in you can sort of taste it's fruity, but it's like the flavour is there to mask whatever other ingredients are supposed to be doing you good. I really didn't like this drink and couldn't finish it, sorry guys! It's like it had an underlying taste of plastic and it wasn't good at all. Full marks for originality, but 1/5 for taste... no other energy drink has gone to the effort of collecting unusual ingredients from both the Himalayas and Saudi Arabia.
