I know that they're going to most likely be bitter and unpleasant. But... with those low expectations already set then sometimes you get a nice surprise. Ok, so this drink is definitely bitter and not a great taste, but the baseline is against other energy shots and this one was much nicer than average! The bitterness is tempered with a sweetness from the tropical flavouring, almost tangy in some respects and because of that you don't get the usual lingering aftertaste from most shots.
